Call to Action

There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to ending hunger. Every person in our community is unique and needs an equally unique solution. Enfield Loaves and Fishes continue to learn about trends and solutions that they can implement in order to end hunger. We need your help in order to get this done. ELF is staffed almost exclusively by volunteers.

Most of us lead very busy lives with little time to squeeze in one more thing. Giving your time and energy to a cause without financial reward may seem an impossible task. However, volunteering at ELF is important for many reasons and doesn’t have to take up too much time. And, in fact, the benefits of volunteering at ELF are extremely rewarding for the volunteer and for the community. The Greek philosopher Aristotle once said that the essence of life is “to serve others and do good. ” Contact ELF and enjoy the experience that volunteering offers.
