Leave a Legacy for Fighting Hunger

Please consider becoming part of an important group of Enfield Loaves and Fishes supporters who are showing their enduring support by including gifts to ELF in their estate planning.

Planned Giving – Leave a Legacy

Please remember Enfield Loaves and Fishes with a bequest in your will. Your thoughtful tax-deductible gift helps us to continue to feed the growing number of hungry people coming to our doors. These are your neighbors, the men and women, and families with children. When you include a charitable bequest with your estate or financial plans, you help support our mission: Loaves and Fishes are committed to providing meals and fellowship to the poor, hungry, and disenfranchised within our community.

Designated Fund

A designated fund provides support to your favorite charitable organizations in perpetuity, or over a set number of years. With an endowed designated fund, you can be confident that your gift will provide a lasting legacy to sustain Enfield Loaves and Fishes. Should ELF cease to exist, your Designated Fund should ensure that funds are redirected to an organization meeting your charitable intent so that your generosity will continue to benefit the community in the way that you envisioned.

Bequests

The simplest way to leave a planned gift to benefit our community is to make a bequest by including specific language in your will or living trust naming Enfield Loaves and Fishes as the recipient of a testamentary gift.

Life Insurance Donations

Among the many ways to donate life insurance, the simplest is to designate Enfield Loaves and Fishes as a beneficiary of the policy.

Personal Property

You can donate tax-deductible personal property such as real estate, vehicles, boats, and other types of personal property.

With all these types of giving Enfield Loaves and Fishes advises that you first speak with your legal counsel and tax preparer before proceeding. Please contact us for any information you need which we will be happy to provide.
